On October 12, 2005, the Pug Rescue Network and a member of our extended Pug family suffered the loss of a dear companion, Lilly Marie. All the tests are pointing to a toxin she may have ingested. Lilly Marie was always putting things in her mouth and, unfortunately, even though she was under close supervision, something toxic was likely ingested. Although we will never really know for sure what took our little Lilly Marie's life, all we can do is educate other pet owners on what could happen to their loving companion. This can happen to anyone. Please educate yourself on what could be toxic to your pets and supervise their playtime. In the Memory of Lilly Marie, please check and recheck your house and yard for things that may be toxic. (i.e. Mushrooms, Berries on Bushes, Coins and the list goes on)
