It is with heavy heart and great sadness that Pug Rescue Network mourns the loss of our beloved "MoJo".
MoJo came into our family as a rescue. During his initial wellness exam it was discovered that MoJo was heartworm positive. MoJo had an enlarged heart and collapsed trachea as well. MoJo went through the grueling heartworm treatment and survived. It was after enduring and fostering our boy that we decided to call him our son and adopted him.
MoJo never got to enjoy going for long walks as his heart did'nt allow it. Our home was kept like an igloo so MoJo could breath easy as he could not tolerate the heat. Our Mo was a very sweet natured and easy going kinda guy. He was very secure in his position within our home, he was king.
MoJo or "Big Bad Mo" as we called him was Pug Rescue Networks Poster Boy for Heartworm Prevention and treatment. He was a Heartworm Survivor. MoJo turned 14 years young this year but was diagnosed several months ago with a Malignant Oral Tumor which caused his decline in health. We helped MoJo cross over the Rainbow Bridge with the dignity he so deserved.
